Speculation on the coach front April 11, 2008

Man, a little jumpy on this, but the Wisconsin State Journal’s “Badger Blog” put out post about NLI prospects for the University of Wisconsin, and included a blip that since their current assistant coach, Kevin Patrick, was a finalist for the Nanook head coaching job last year, that he may be approached by Alaska. It says that he hasn’t been approached yet, and it seems to me like a lot of people will be happy if Dallas Ferguson gets to be more than just an “interim” head coach.

It also notes that Karr and Patrick are both Notre Dame hockey alums, though Patrick (’92) apparently was a whole cycle ahead of Karr (’96).
