By saying I’ve never been to a WCHA game, I’m also saying “take what I say with a grain of salt.” I’m just saying that UAA beating UAF doesn’t prove that the WCHA as a whole is better than the CCHA as a whole. It proves that the Seawolves out-played the Nanooks for two nights (which they did, in an outrageous fashion from what I can tell, as I couldn’t make the Anchorage game). Early on in the season the Nanooks won UAA’s tournament and UAA won the tournament up here, so they each did better against some opponents than others.

And I agree, last weekend the Nanooks sure didn’t look like a No. 4 team. I’m definitely looking forward to the playoffs next weekend, hoping they get a little more “on” than they were last weekend… and on and off for the last bit of the season.

You have never watched a WCHA game, yet you disagree it’s a better league? Well, you might want to watch a WCHA game one of these days. The league is known by almost all coaches as the BEST league in the nation.

Fairbanks did NOT look like a #4 team. Playoffs should be interesting, I’d love to see UA match up against teams like North Dakota or Wisconsin.
